Indian River Lagoon Algae Levels: Dec. 25–31

The Save Our Indian River Lagoon project reported that algae bloom levels, measured by a substance called chlorophyll-a, generally decreased during the final week of December. This update tracks the health of the water by monitoring the concentration of microscopic plants that can be harmful in large amounts.
