Miccosukee Tribe Seeks Control of 'Alligator Alcatraz' Site

The Miccosukee Tribe has requested that Miami-Dade County transfer the 'Alligator Alcatraz' site to them for conservation purposes. However, the land is currently held by the Florida state government, which seized it from the county last summer.
