Dog killed by bear at Lake Oroville State Recreation Area

A dog died after chasing bear cubs and being attacked by an adult bear at the Loafer Creek area of Lake Oroville State Recreation Area on Friday. The incident occurred while two owners were walking their dogs on the Roy Rogers trail.
