Proposed Data Center Complex in DeSoto County

A Florida company called DCIP Group has received permission to build a data center on 34 acres of land at a former power plant site near Arcadia. The developers have indicated that the project could eventually grow to cover 1,300 acres, which has sparked concerns from local residents.
