Shevrin D. "Shev" Jones is an American educator and politician who has served as the Florida state senator for the 34th District since 2020. A member of the Democratic Party, he served in the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 101st District, from 2012 to 2020. Term-limited from his house position in 2020, he ran for the Florida Senate in a crowded primary for District 35. He faced no Republican opposition in the general election.
